  1. What motivated you to start this business?
From a very young age I have loved producing creative works of functional art and I have always had a love for selling. I began producing souvenir clothing items for purchase in the year 2008 back in Dominica where I am from. I have continued to do so in St. Lucia for the past 2 years when I partnered with natural jewelry artisan Julian James and we opened the boutique “Natural Talentz Sewing & Craft” in 2017 upstairs the JQ Mall in Rodney Bay.
  2. How long have you been in operation?
In St. Lucia we have been in operation for 2 years.
  3. List the products/services you offer?
    – Handcrafted earrings from natural materials found locally
    – Handcrafted natural necklaces and bracelets
    – Handcrafted local souvenir items, e.g. Coconut bowls and ashtrays etc.
    – Handmade souvenir dolls
    – Handmade souvenir clothing
    – Authentic African fabrics
    – Custom wear sewing services
    – Clothing alterations

  4. Where can one find your products and services?
Natural Talentz Sewing and Craft Boutique is located on the top floor of the JQ Mall in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet District, St. Lucia.
  1. Why should a customer/organization support your business?
My business offers customers unique products and services currently unavailable anywhere else. All our jewelry items allow customers- locals and tourists -alike to own a piece of St. Lucia in a fashionable form. Not only can they select from a wide range of unique designs, they are also able to speak to us concerning their ideas and have these incorporated in a custom made artisan piece thus creating the perfect gift. We also offer hypo-allergenic jewelry as we use surgical grade stainless steel findings (earring hooks, jump rings etc), & natural food coloring is used as dyes.
