Turning a Food-Waste Concern into a Farm Business
I began with backyard farming and agro-processing as a hobby to reduce food waste. I now combine farming and local sourcing to make better use of breadfruit, banana, plantain, and other local crops.
From Local Crops to Packaged Foods
I grow some crops and source others from local farmers, then dehydrate and mill them into flours, pancake mixes, waffles, and herbal teas. I package products for local markets and customers and also provide custom plant-based catering.
